There are some websites that are very helpful to keep up to date with:
- https://www.onlinesafetyuk.com/ – leading the way in online safety and safeguarding with some excellent advice on apps
- NSPCC – has some great advice about social networking sites and apps children are using, like Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube, and how to set up parental controls at home
- Think You Know – has some excellent advice about how to keep children safe online and gives guidance as to how to help if you have any worries – especially if you have children in UKS2 or in secondary school
- Childline – has some great tips on staying safe when using smartphones
