There are some websites that are very helpful to keep up to date with:

  • https://www.onlinesafetyuk.com/ – leading the way in online safety and safeguarding with some excellent advice on apps
  • NSPCC – has some great advice about social networking sites and apps children are using, like Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube, and how to set up parental controls at home
  • Think You Know – has some excellent advice about how to keep children safe online and gives guidance as to how to help if you have any worries – especially if you have children in UKS2 or in secondary school
  • Childline – has some great tips on staying safe when using smartphones

  • #DITTO – a free online safety (e-safety) magazine for schools, organizations and parents to keep you up to date with risks, issues, advice and guidance related to keeping children safe online, with a view to enjoying and learning about technology
