eSafety

During our recent safety week, all year groups spent time looking at how to stay safe on-line.

There are some websites that are very helpful to keep up to date with:

NSPCC – has some great advice about social networking sites and apps children are using, like Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube, and how to set up parental controls at home.

Think You Know – has some excellent advice about how to keep children safe online and gives guidance as to how to help if you have any worries – especially if you have children in UKS2 or in secondary school.

Childline – has some great tips on staying safe when using smartphones.

#DITTO – a free online safety (e-safety) magazine for schools, organizations and parents to keep you up to date with risks, issues, advice and guidance related to keeping children safe online, with a view to enjoying and learning about technology.
