Sports Premium Funding

Overview

The government has created this funding to support the development of school sports, for the provision of physical education in 2013, schools have received additional funding to help improve sports in primary schools.

Key Indicator 1: Increased confidence, knowledge and skills of all staff teaching PE and Sport. By embedding this scheme, there will be a broad and balanced curriculum offered which is progressive across the school £0

By training staff this will increase their skills and confidence in delivering a broad range of sports and activities, which will add to their own professional skills as well as providing an inclusive environment. £2000 for subject leader release time to monitor and develop staff.

Maintaining, increasing and enhancing the selection of PE and sports equipment will provide a more comprehensive approach and broader experiences. £5000 for maintenance and purchase of new resources to enhance provision.

Greater number of pupils participate in competitive sport. School builds a relationship with competitive leagues and clubs and is able to sign post pupils to out of school opportunities £3500 for fees, travel costs and staff cover.
